The GOP is anti-women, we all know that. And I will never ever be submissive. I'm too independent and stubborn for that. Oh and for all those women out there who think we should be submissive, where is the line drawn? Because to me being submissive could potentially lead to a controlling and abusive husband. And you all seem to forget that the BIBLE says that there is no man or women that we're all one in the body of Christ so why should we be submissive when the BIBLE says that we're equal?! Oh yeah, I forgot. The bible contradicts itself like crazy.

Bachmann: God - Be Submissive To Husband
The GOP is anti-women, we all know that. And I will never ever be submissive. I'm too independent and stubborn for that. So if her husband says to have a nuclear war, does she do it? If her husband says declare war on Canada, does she do it? Taking a spouse's views into consideration is important to a marriage, but no one is always right.
And since people are picking and choosing, why not choose the verses about love, and not hate. (Prop 8, the Musical)
You make a lot of good points. I too believe it's good to take a spouse's views into consideration and to make decisions together unless your spouse doesn't care.
That would be nice if they chose that. They just seem to use the bible when its convenient for them and not everyone else.
