Newt Gingrich Leaves 30-Year Trail Of Debts, Lawsuits And Bankruptcies In His Wake

Newt Gingrich Leaves 30-Year Trail Of Debts, Lawsuits And Bankruptcies In His Wake: "WASHINGTON -- Newt Gingrich holds himself up as a model of fiscal discipline. "If the U.S. government was as debt-free as I am, everybody in America would be celebrating," he told reporters last year.

What may be true for Gingrich personally, however, has rarely been the case for organizations he runs. Gingrich's presidential campaign is basically broke. The latest financial disclosure reports show that his campaign closed out the month of January with $1.73 million in debt and a scant $1.79 million in cash on hand, just enough to cover expenses that included private jets and unusually large personal reimbursements. The highly publicized injection of more than $11 million from casino magnate Sheldon Adelson into a super PAC backing Gingrich's campaign has fueled the perception that Gingrich is flush, but Adelson's money won't keep the lights on at campaign headquarters...."

Does Providing Contraception to Women = Hating Religion?

Does Providing Contraception to Women = Hating Religion?: "What? What? WHAT?!

It's like a bad joke opening, "Two Roman Catholics and a Mormon walk into a bar and demand that all the women stop using contraception..."

To make the joke complete let's examine the "moral authority" credentials of these three clowns and that of the "religious authorities" who want to make religion -- say the "issue" that President Obama is not a "real Christian," or he is "anti-religious freedom" -- an election year talking point.

Who is it that claims this moral authority and that also demands to be taken seriously? Why the Roman Catholic bishops and a former Mormon missionary of course!..."

Christian Pastor Calls For Starbucks Boycott Over Gay Marriage Support

Christian Pastor Calls For Starbucks Boycott Over Gay Marriage Support: "A Christian pastor is asking customers to boycott Starbucks due to the company's support of a bill to legalize gay marriage in Washington state, King 5 News reports.

"Christians are upset with Starbucks for turning against God...Starbucks can follow Satan if they want to," Steven Andrew, and evangelical pastor and president of the USA Christian Ministries in California, said in a statement. "However, pastors are to help Christians. Are you on the Lord's side? Will you help the USA be blessed by God?"

The call for the boycott was released Tuesday, a day prior to the bill's passage in Washington's State Senate Wednesday night, according to Reuters...."

I wonder if this means they're also going to boycott the other 100 companies also backing this bill?

Auction 2012: Greedy Bastards and Student Debt

Auction 2012: Greedy Bastards and Student Debt: "Imagine a product so irresistible that most Americans thought they couldn't live without it. Every President talked of its importance, and it was perceived of as the key to you or your child's future. There was a limited supply, and prices kept going up. The best business to be in would be lending to people so they can buy it.

I'm talking about higher education, and student loans..."

The Muppets Are Communist, Fox Business Network Says

The Muppets Are Communist, Fox Business Network Says: "It ain't easy being green, but according to Fox Business, Kermit the Frog and his Muppet friends are reds.

Last week, on the network's "Follow the Money" program, host Eric Bolling went McCarthy on the new, Disney-released film, "The Muppets," insisting that its storyline featuring an evil oil baron made it the latest example of Hollywood's so-called liberal agenda.

Bolling, who took issue with the baron's name, Tex Richman, was joined by Dan Gainor of the conservative Media Research Center, who was uninhibited with his criticism...."

Obama Threatens To Veto GOP's 'Cut, Cap And Balance' Plan

Obama Threatens To Veto GOP's 'Cut, Cap And Balance' Plan - Huffington Post: "In a sharply worded statement, the administration ripped the plan -- which conditions a debt limit hike on a constitutional amendment that would require the government to balance its books each year -- as "an empty political statement" with "unrealistic policy goals." The proposal also requires substantial spending cuts and a statutory spending cap as a precondition for raising the debt ceiling..."

May 21 'Judgment Day' Believers React To Being Alive On May 22 - Huffington Post

I sort of feel bad for the people who quit their jobs but then again I'm not sorry. Maybe they should read their bibles better and then they won't get caught up in some nut jobs false predictions.

Harold Camping: The Man Behind 'Judgement Day,' May 21, 2011

Harold Camping: The Man Behind 'Judgement Day,' May 21, 2011 - Huffington Post

I love how there's Christians out there who think they know when the world is going to end even though Jesus said that no one will know but his Father. So logically, it can't be Saturday.

Michele Bachmann Invokes Holocaust In Railing Against Taxes

Michele Bachmann Invokes Holocaust In Railing Against Taxes - Huffington Post

I'm pretty sure that taxes have nothing to do with the Holocaust seeing as the Holocaust dealt with genocide and not taxes. I can't believe this woman is trying to run for president.
