Can we send them to jail already?
"If the United States is supposed to uphold "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness" how can a sick or dying person without health care have these rights."
~Motivated In Ohio
"Any health care funding plan that is just, equitable, civilized and humane must - must - redistribute wealth from the richer among us to the poorer and the less fortunate. Excellent healthcare is by definition re-distributional."
~Donald Berwick

Getting Rich Off The Poor: How The Koch Brothers Wealth Grew 43% Since 2010
Getting Rich Off The Poor: How The Koch Brothers Wealth Grew 43% Since 2010: "A week after the Census Bureau reported that American poverty has hit an all time high, America has learned the wealth of Charles and David Koch has increased 43% since March of 2010.
According to Forbes, the Koch Brothers have seen their fortune grow by 43% in a little more than a year to $25 billion. According to Think Progress the Koch boys have made their money by aggressively speculating in energy markets, “Koch uses legitimate hedging products to create price stability. However, the documents reveal that Koch is also participating in the unregulated derivatives markets as a financial player, buying and selling speculative products that are increasingly contributing to the skyrocketing price of oil.”..."

The Koch Is My Shepherd: Fox Uses Goat Herder Rules To Attack Obama
The Koch Is My Shepherd: Fox Uses Goat Herder Rules To Attack Obama: "In a sign that their perpetual outrage machine may have the summer blues, Fox and Friends got outraged that Obama administration is now required that goat herders be provided with clean beds.
Steve Doocy said, “For instance the government is going to require the people who hire these goat herders and sheepherders who are largely migrant farmers from another country to have separate sleeping units for each person, each unit has got have a comfortable bed and clean mattress, and the wall near the cooking areas must be fire resistant, so here in the name of making things better for the goat herders they’re giving the people who hire the goat herders a headache because they are going to have follow all these federal regulations.”
Michelle Malkin added, “I think the most important thing about this these goat herders are being imported and one wonders if there isn’t anybody else in this country everybody talks about American jobs, American jobs if there isn’t somebody who wouldn’t want to have these cushy jobs with a cell phone supplied by the government, or guaranteed by the government anyway, and I would like to know how many people exactly we’re bringing into this country to do these jobs that you’d think somebody else would want to do.”..."

Read My Lips Koch Brothers, No New Tax Cuts
Read My Lips Koch Brothers, No New Tax Cuts: "Americans are known for their generosity, charity, and concern toward foreigners who suffer during times of natural disasters, but recently, American conservatives have demonstrated that their lack of concern for their countrymen who are poor and disadvantaged through no fault of their own. Millions of Americans have lost their jobs and homes to a less-than-ideal economy and Republicans have answered with cuts to unemployment benefits and social safety nets belying generosity and charity for their own citizens. Many Americans consider it a privilege to pay their taxes because the government used to take care of our most vulnerable citizens. Republicans though, hate taxes when they are used to fund government aid programs, but they depend on them to fund their wars and tax breaks for the rich. This week, Warren Buffet wrote an op/ed where he said the wealthy should pay more taxes because of the opportunity this country has given them, and that they should share the sacrifice middle class America shoulders...."

The Buckeye State Gives the Koch Agenda A Big Black Eye
The Buckeye State Gives the Koch Agenda A Big Black Eye: "Today, Ohioans served Republican Governor John Kasich some of his own medicine, rejecting his offer to negotiate with them on Senate Bill 5 (the bill that killed collective bargaining rights). They told him the time for talking was over.
We Are Ohio has taken the people’s fight all the way back to the ballot box to the chagrin of Governor Kasich. The anti-union bill (S.B. 5) that he rammed down the throats of Ohioans in spite of daily protests (hello, Scott Walker) is being put on the November ballot after 1.3 million Ohioans signed petitions to put the vote before the people. Kasich is now begging for “compromise” from the legislature in order to avoid the harsh judgment of the actual people he serves...."
