State and local governments have laid off teachers, slashed Medicaid funding, and even started unpaving roads and turning off streetlights.
But perhaps the most shocking idea to save money is being debated right now by the City Council of Topeka, Kansas. The city could repeal an ordinance banning domestic violence because some say the cost of prosecuting those cases is just too high...."

This is absolutely crazy. They aren't human. But I bet pot still is illegal. I don't do drugs, but if they have pot illegal, and have women getting beat, they have their priorities wrong.
Yeah pretty much. It would save the US a lot of money if it was legal but until then I stay as far away as possible because if you get caught with it and get charged your life is pretty screwed for a while.
