"If the United States is supposed to uphold "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness" how can a sick or dying person without health care have these rights."
~Motivated In Ohio
"Any health care funding plan that is just, equitable, civilized and humane must - must - redistribute wealth from the richer among us to the poorer and the less fortunate. Excellent healthcare is by definition re-distributional."
~Donald Berwick

Big Time Banker Leaves 1% Tip for Waitress & "Tip" She Should "GET A REAL JOB" [UPDATED]
Big Time Banker Leaves 1% Tip for Waitress & "Tip" She Should "GET A REAL JOB" [UPDATED]: "In the food service industry, bad tippers sometimes live on in infamy. Entire books have been written about the plight of the waitstaff working stiff who gets left pennies that don't come near the standard 15-20%. One diner at a Newport Beach restaurant, however, used a recent $133.54 tab to express his disdain for his server's line of work by leaving a 1% tip and a note: "GET A REAL JOB."

Why Do Dangerous Financial Criminals Roam Free?
Why Do Dangerous Financial Criminals Roam Free?: "Prosecutors like Eric Schneiderman need cops on the beat to put financial crooks behind bars. But thanks to Bush, these cops are missing in action.
American Public Media's "Marketplace" had a recent segment focused on why it has taken so long to bring criminal prosecutions related to the financial crisis. Reporters observed that at the beginning of the crisis, the Obama administration wanted to calm the financial industry rather than impose accountability. They speculated, along with Tea Party and Occupy Wall Street participants, many of whom have been calling for prosecutions, that Obama’s creation of a new group to prosecute mortgage fraud led by New York Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman was likely to be politically motivated. And they indicated that financial crimes are complex and prosecutors need time to develop their cases.
But here's what they didn't say: A major reason the prosecutions don’t exist is that President George W. Bush took the cops off the beat...."

Wells Fargo CEO John Stumpf Mic Checked at NC State by Occupy on 11/30/11
I really think it's pretty stupid of the students to stand up and clap over what the protestors are trying to say. Students and home owners have been targeted by big banks for a long time. They just clapped in favor of someone who makes more in one year than they will in their entire lifetime. Someone who's taken people out of their homes. And someone who charges insane interest rates for student loans.

The $1 Trillion Student Loan Rip-Off: How an Entire Generation Was Tricked into Taking on Crushing Debt That Just Enriches Banks: "USA Today says that at some point this year, student loan debt will exceed $1 trillion, surpassing even credit card debt. Felix Salmon says the number is closer to $550 billion. Either way total student loan debt is rising as other debts have tailed off. Delinquency has increased, too, since the height of the financial crisis.
