This Ayn Rand thinking really needs to go away.
"If the United States is supposed to uphold "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness" how can a sick or dying person without health care have these rights."
~Motivated In Ohio
"Any health care funding plan that is just, equitable, civilized and humane must - must - redistribute wealth from the richer among us to the poorer and the less fortunate. Excellent healthcare is by definition re-distributional."
~Donald Berwick

The notion that someone who works very hard, but is so underpaid that she needs help to get food is a "taker" really galls me. The wealthy so-called "makers" make profits off of exploiting the so-called "takers." The names should be reversed!
The baggers, I believe, would reject this nonsense if they were made to confront Rand's "less than Christian" philosophy. Here's where a thousand good Sunday morning sermons would do a lot of good.
It does need to be reversed Ulysses. It's the wealthy who got us into this mess in the first place and us 'takers' bailed them out. It's crazy.
I would hope that these views would be rejected Cletis. I think that the TP know enough about Rands views. They just think she's awesome because she loves capitalism.
