I just realized that 75% of my paycheck comes from the federal government because I'm currently a student employee. My Pell Grant money also hasn't been dispersed yet either.
This feeling of impending doom is getting worse :|
Underground, your comment about pell grants is what the pigs don't get. These draconian cuts touch real people. Yet, they would rather do that than raise taxes on the uber wealthy. They are disgusting.
I'm also a federal student worker and the government pays for 75% of my paycheck. So I may end up getting hit on two different fronts :(
I'm so tired of these idiots messing with people's lively hoods! It won't help the economy at all to take money out of our hands! I wish they'd realize this but it seems to go in one ear and out the other.

Since it hasn't happened before, no one knows exactly what it will be like, but most sane people believe it will be awful.
We're already seeing what happening to Greece and Ireland.
