Okay, what do we say now? We sent President Obama to Washington to call out this sleaze. Why should the Repigs dictate the tone and substance of these "talks" in the first place? Actually, there should not have been talks tied to raising the debt ceiling. The Tea Party will be more empowered by this and will claim credit for slapping down the Progressives like us. I am very frustrated that one of the great orators of our time will not call out these vipers on behalf of those of us who sent him there to do that very thing.
I agree with you Cletis. Obama needs to just stand up for us and grow a backbone. He'll never make everyone happy and I'm tired of the Tea Party Taliban controlling everything when there's very few of them and a lot of us. They've pretty much taken over our government and people are just standing by and letting it happen. All they need to do is raise it and then they can talk about the budget. We do need reforms but I don't want them to happen the way their going. I'm so tired of them attacking entitlement programs for the needy but not the ones for the people who least need them.
It's got to be bad if Bill O is calling them crazy. If crazy calls someone else crazy, they must be way far down the line.
That is so true.
