Remind me again why we don't need more gun control to prevent like this from happening?

That is horrible. Tell me again why we need assault rifles on the street?
That's what I'd like to know. I'm just glad that only one person got shot. But one person is still way too much.
It really is.
First, here we go with the "assault rifle" hysteria. First of all, it was not an "assault rifle". It was a .33 caliber *hunting* rifle. Other information and picture here: http://www.pnwlocalnews.com/east_king/iss/news/130748483.html. *None* of the weapons in the picture are "assault rifles". Stop the hysteria. That's a red herring for those whose agenda is to them all away. As to 'why we need them', I would refer the poster to the Federalist papers, the Second Amendment to the US Constitution and the two *recent* Supreme Court rulings US vs. Heller and Chicago vs. McDonald. Settled law. I would also refer the poster to the *millions* of crimes prevented or aborted by legally arrned citizens but there's no need. Settled law. Move on to other unproductive distracting and inadvertently-harmful ideas, please.
