That is just nuts. Any sane person wants an animal killed humanely, free from disease and contaminats. What a joke. Next are they going after scarfs, because Islamic women cover their heads?
It really is nuts. I'd happily buy a Halal turkey! And it wouldn't surprise me if they did go after scarves. Their ignorance is ridiculous and really sad.
