I was in the process of writing a reply to this... but by paragraph three I had to conclude "you know, I think it would just be better for me to say "thank you for this, you have given my more than enough inspiration for yet another article!" And as you've seen from my blog, I don't get them that often!
Tell me when it is done. I can't wait. I get ideas when I comment on places too. All of my articles started as a comment somewhere. I did one on Mother Jones, that turned into a book, so I copied what I wrote and enhanced it a little for an article.
