"If the United States is supposed to uphold "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness" how can a sick or dying person without health care have these rights."
~Motivated In Ohio
"Any health care funding plan that is just, equitable, civilized and humane must - must - redistribute wealth from the richer among us to the poorer and the less fortunate. Excellent healthcare is by definition re-distributional."

Tell Democrats to Stand Up for Progressive Principles
DEAR FELLOW DEMOCRATS:
Democrats get six seats on the committee charged with cutting our deficit. And those Democrats should speak with one voice when it comes to these three progressive principles.
1. MEDICARE
We believe that any solution that ends Medicare as we know it–by slashing benefits or turning it into a voucher program–is no solution at all, and we will oppose it.
2. SOCIAL SECURITY
We believe that Social Security is a promise that must be kept. It provides economic security to millions of vulnerable Americans, did not cause the budget problem, and should not be cut as part of the solution.
3. SHARED SACRIFICE
We believe that we all must share the sacrifice–and that includes big corporations and the wealthy.
Democrats believe in fiscal responsibility. But with Republicans attempting to ram their extreme agenda through by force, I urge you to stand firm in support of these uniting principles.

Obama/Brown lead in Ohio; Brown most popular politician in Ohio right now
Obama/Brown lead in Ohio; Brown most popular politician in Ohio right now - Plunderbund: "In 2008, then-Senator Barack Obama won Ohio by five-points. Four years later, Ohioans are split on whether Obama deserves a second term with 46% approving and 47% disapproving. However, when it comes to the lackluster ’12 GOP Presidential field, Obama leads front-runner Mitt Romney by four points. Obama’s approval rating is 46% and his disapproval rating is 50%. So, while Ohioans equally disapprove of the job both Obama and Kasich are doing, Obama’s approval rating towers over Kasich by a difference of eleven points..."
