"If the United States is supposed to uphold "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness" how can a sick or dying person without health care have these rights."
~Motivated In Ohio
"Any health care funding plan that is just, equitable, civilized and humane must - must - redistribute wealth from the richer among us to the poorer and the less fortunate. Excellent healthcare is by definition re-distributional."

When Americans Asked For Bipartisanship The Republicans Said No
When Americans Asked For Bipartisanship The Republicans Said No: "In any country with a democratic-like government, there will always be partisanship despite the need for a unified approach to accomplish anything. It is human nature to have opposing viewpoints and it is beneficial to always consider different approaches to solve a problem because no one side or person can possibly anticipate every eventuality in reaching a goal. American politics are mired in partisanship and voters want both sides to work together to solve problems and move the country forward, but their pleas have been disregarded by Republicans who are not willing to compromise on anything. Indeed, Democrats have given up more to the GOP than their supporters like and despite making difficult concessions, the Republicans refused to budge and nearly sent the economy into a major depression..."

Americans Love Socialism: Bernie Sanders Is The 3rd Most Popular US Senator
Americans Love Socialism: Bernie Sanders Is The 3rd Most Popular US Senator: "A new PPP survey of Vermont found that Sen. Bernie Sanders one of the nation’s most left leaning senators is so well liked at home that he is the nation’s third most popular senator.
Sen. Sanders has an approval rating of 67% in Vermont, with only 28% of those polled disapproving of him. Sanders will be facing his first reelection campaign next year, and no matter whom he is matched up against he gets at least 56% of the vote. The closest any potential opponent comes to Sanders is Jim Douglas, and he trails the Senator, 56%-38%..."

'Porn' Pledge: Republicans Santorum & Bachmann Sign Marriage, Anti-Sharia, Anti-Pornography Vow
You won't ever stop the porn industry. I believe that everyone was created equal so gay people should be allowed to get married. And being anti-Sharia law makes us no better than Nazi Germany. I really don't want to turn into a fascist country so I really hope that these people don't get elected.

A Fair and Progressive Budget for America
Sanders is another one of my favorite Senators. He's pretty awesome and I love that he's standing up for the Middle Class instead of the Corporations. I also like his budget idea. It sounds a lot better than the GOP plan.
